The female war fighter's role has evolved significantly over the years and we believe it is important to acknowledge that evolution; and so it is with great pleasure that we honor and recognize COL Jeanne Smith Hooper with our 2010 Excellence In Leadership Award. Through this award we salute COL Hooper for the dedicated service she has given to her country as a true leader, and for her valuable contributions to the Michigan defense community.
In addition to the Excellence In Leadership Award, (3) Horizon Industry Awards will be presented to recognize individuals and/or teams who have distinguished themselves in the defense community and assisted their companies in achieving critical objectives. The Horizon Industry Awards are sponsored by Crains Detroit Business. Nominate a team or individual.
