incl. Defense offices.

WID Mission:  

Cultivating and supporting the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security is the mission of Women In Defense, A National Security Organization (WID). Members of this non-profit professional organization, which includes men and women, have careers related to the defense of the United States and national security

Organization goals:  

• To provide our members with opportunities for professional development and networking
• To cultivate the advancement of women leaders in government and industry professions
• Primary focus - on the Individual who is currently employed or looking to be employed in the Michigan Defense Industry
• Secondary focus - to assist local small businesses/contract houses learn more about the Michigan Defense Industry with the intent of learning about more opportunities for mutual benefit
• To increase our membership to 200 members by September 27th, 2008
